Virtua Health System and Summer Wind Farms have joined forces to bring Virtua employees and staff fresh, local and delicious USDA Certified Organic Jersey Fresh produce this season.
Summer Wind Farms will be providing Virtua staff and employees our Vegetable CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program for the 2017 growing season. We will be delivering to several Virtua facilities.
Summer Wind Farms, LLC is a family farm located in Franklin Township in Southeastern Gloucester County, New Jersey, about half way between Philadelphia and Atlantic City.
We are USDA Certified Organic by quality Certification Services, of Gainesville, Florida. We grow a wide variety of crops including hybrid round and grape tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, kale, lettuce, sweet corn, green beans, eggplants, radishes, peppers, herbs, and many others. With our Vegetable CSA, you’ll get a box of freshly picked produce from our farm each week representing the seasonal bounty of our South Jersey farm. Our share size is what we call a "half Share" it generally feeds 2-3 people. If your family is larger, say 4-5 people and depending on how many vegetables your family eats in a week you may want to buy a two half shares. The farm also offers a Jersey Fruit CSA share and a Fall Farm Share for the late fall and early winter.

If it is more convenient you can pick up at any of our other locations on days and times designated, click the "Vegetable CSA" tab from the menu above for locations, days and times. You can even pickup at the farm if it fits your schedule.
